A Network Design for an Electric Cooperative by Implementing Firewall Security
Area of Research
Abstract
A company's network is essential. Without the proper network infrastructure in
place, it may experience poor user experience and security issues, which can reduce
employee productivity, cost you money, and cause device damage. The study developed
a network design for cooperative that implemented the firewall security and hierarchical
network model that can handle additional devices in the future. To develop and simulate
the network design, the study adapted the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement,
Operate, and Optimize) method. GNS3 was used to simulate the network design, and the
simulation can execute the following configurations (DHCP, OSPF, Inter-Vlan, Access
Rules, NAT Rules, and FTP server).
