Perceived Effects of Covid-19 on the Internship Program of MSEUF: Basis for Program Intervention

Abstract
This study intends to assess the obstacles faced by fourth-year students in Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation during the Covid-19 pandemic during their virtual internships, as well as the students' changes to the new normal or virtual internships. The subjects of the quantitative study are the 100 students picked at random from a list of Criminology fourth-year students, of which 50 were male and 50 were female. Students were selected using standard random sampling. Students experience online internships and it was effective at the university but struggles are present. Results show that the Covid-19 pandemic make a great impact on the learning process of the students, it also brought more challenges for the students however students are ready to apply and faced these challenges. Blended learning is recommended for the student to apply their gained knowledge in their profession. Educator or Trainor skills are also a big factor that helps the student to learn more from professionals.
