Issues Faced by the Philippine National Police: Its Impact on the Performance of Police Personnel

This study aims to determine the issues faced by the Philippine National Police and their Impact on the performance of police personnel. Specifically, this study sought to answer the following questions: Determine the respondent's demographic profile, assess the level of performance of the police officers, identify the current issues faced by the members of the Philippine National Police, and identify the impact of the issues to the level of performance of the police personnel. The study was descriptive research employing a qualitative approach. The research questionnaire was distributed to 60 respondents in the community and police personnel of the Municipality of Pagbilao. The respondents were given the different community members in the said municipality to get the needed results. This study aims to identify the difficulties encountered by the Philippine national police and how it affects the performance of the police officers. Moreover, the data gathered were tabulated and analyzed using data results, frequency, weighted mean, and ranking to determine the significant influence of the independent variables on the dependent variables. The result shows that the police personnel still has an effective performance in maintaining peace and order.
