A Proposed Design of Multi-purpose Sports Complex In Brgy.Balubal, Sariaya, Quezon

A modern design sports infrastructure plays a crucial role in achieving excellence in sports in different countries nowadays. It has been effective in the production of sports persons as well as the development of industry and local tourism of a place. The idea of proposing a design of multi-purpose sports complex answers the problem of the residents? need forpublic assembly facility that provides diversified activities for local residents and families. The main objective of this approach is to provide a place that can accommodate a large number of people; encourage youth population to get into sports; and provide a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable place to reside. This study contributes to the body of knowledge. The study concentrates on the design of the proposed multi-purpose sports complex based on design codes, standards and specification required in the structure components with all possible combination of the proposed structural design computation of the proposed structure using Ultimate Strength Design, National Building Code of the Philippines (2010 version), National Structural Code of the Philippines, ACI (318-08) Codes, AISC 341 10(Minimum Design Loads for Building). The preparation of cost estimate and bill of materials by finding the quantity and type of materials and other services rendered for the construction of the building are based on the latest prices of items used in the construction process.Preparation of technical specifications MULTI-PURPOSE SPORTS COMPLEX 16 usesthe National Building Code of the Philippines (NBC) and local rules and regulation of Sariaya. The researchers recommend the implementation of the construction of the proposed design of Multi-purpose Sports Complex and for the location to be taken into consideration.
