Completed2022

Abstract

The notion of constructing a framework in writing related literature and studies arose from the wide diversity of frameworks used in writing introductions. The process of writing a research article is considered a difficult endeavor. It's considerably more challenging to write in a second or third language. Even if a language editor can correct grammatical errors, researchers were on their own regarding the rhetorical presentation of their study findings. This research aimed to develop a rhetorical pattern useful in related literature and studies. Dissertations have been analyzed based on transitivity, modality, and voice with multiple interpretations based on language models to understand the variations used in research writing fully. Exemplars were taken to account and interpreted based on their type and category. The study gives a qualitative appraisal through frequency distribution of the accounted statements found in the finest graduate school research. The basic goal of transitivity was to link the semantic and grammatical dots to extract meaning artistically via language. According to the study, the active voice is utilized more frequently than the passive one since it is more direct and unambiguous. In the statement, the passive voice emphasizes the recipient of the action rather than the doer, whereas the active voice emphasizes the doer of the action rather than the receiver. In conclusion, the best graduate studies and theses showcase the six (6) prominence, namely, relational, verbal, mental, existential, behavioral, and material. Both deontic and epistemic modalities were found in the best graduate studies theses. Most of the voices used in the best graduate studies were in active voice, and very few passive voices were noted. Creating Relevant Arguments for Forming Theoretical Synthesis (CRAFTS) was developed for research writers who would like to equip themselves with an argumentative strategy in forming a claim while writing academic text. On the contrary, this can benefit academia and other areas that need research writing. Study article writers must convey research data systematically, following a rhetorical pattern established by the discourse community.
