Abstract

This study primarily aimed to determine the consumers’ perception towards the cashless transactions in restaurants in Lucena City. This study has established the interrelationship between demographic profiles and identified factors including difficulties and challenges that they had experience thus affecting their perception on using cashless payment method. The study has utilized Descriptive and Quantitative Approach to examine the relationship between variables. The data was gathered from 200 respondents who became customers in restaurants in Lucena City. Moreover, sets of survey questionnaires were used as instruments to obtain information from the respondents. The researchers determined the demographic characteristics of respondents, determined the consumer’s perceived usefulness of cashless transaction in restaurants in terms of security, time, and norms, and determined the consumers’ perceived ease of use of cashless transaction in restaurants terms of delivery of food, pick-up of food, and dine-in of food.
