Abstract

Tourism is an activity engaged by human beings. International tourists are deemed to have significantly greater value, especially for soft currency destinations. The use of different marketing strategies influence tourist behavioral intentions with regards to outcome quality, physical environment quality, tourist satisfaction, place identity, place dependence, intention to recommend, and intention to visit. The quantitative study titled "Travelers’ Satisfaction on Selected Homestay Accommodation In Lucban, Quezon" aims to find out the satisfaction of the travelers in the selected homestay accommodation. This study aims to determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, and civil status. This study discussed and featured certain topics namely the attributes why tourists choose Lucban, Quezon as their homestay in terms of physical attraction and cuisine and delicacies, and the level of satisfaction of tourists in homestay experience in terms of service, security, and facility. The 30 respondents were chosen through a purposive sampling technique with criteria. For the data gathering, the researchers used a self-devised survey questionnaire to get the opinion and answers of the respondents which happened through online survey via google forms. Gathered data were used in analyzing the answers to support the whole process of the study. The raw data from the returned questionnaires were coded and entered to the statistical system. To interpret and evaluate, researchers used the frequency count with percentage and the weighted arithmetic mean and the Pearson r correlation. Based on the findings, set of conclusions and recommendations were formulated. Local Government Unit must ensure an open communication with different organization through continuous participation in provincial and national tourism meetings and affairs. Local products of Lucban must be showcased through an organized trade fair. Marketing and promotion of tourism in Lucban must be upgraded by developing logo and branding “Lucban; Yanung Rikit, Yanung Ganda”. They shall pursue mutual partnership and arrangement with nearby LGU’s and tourist agencies in the province.
