Completed2021

Abstract

The research focused on the promotion of Fine Arts and Architecture in MSEUF Lucena City. Fine Arts and Architecture are four-year courses that enable students to use creativity, design principles, theories, methods, and tools in order to create a more beautiful and functional world. In our country, the most challenging problem is the art appreciation of Filipinos. Most of us believe that it is just a hobby and pursuing it cannot support a living. In order to change this belief and encourage students to pursue Fine Arts and Architecture, we need to take actions and execute promotions that would start in our community. This study determined the perceptions of the local community on the Fine Arts and Architecture program of MSEUF that could help us to find out the factors that kept the population of the Fine Arts and Architecture program very low. It was guided by quantitative methods. Quantitative research methods emphasize objective measurements and the statistical, mathematical, or numerical analysis of data collected through polls, questionnaires, and surveys. In addition, this paper also explored the advantages of the MSEUF Fine Arts and Architecture program in order to create promotional strategies that can improve the number of students in the department.
