A Proposed Science Planetarium (Lucena City)

Abstract
This study aimed to design and propose a science planetarium in Lucena City.
The proposed science planetarium will give people new attraction. This means
additional tourism to the city. Since, the innovation of technologies and is not yet
available in the locality of the province, this study specifically focused to provide a place
that will give a better scientific avenues. The result of this proposal can be the new
landmark in the city. The location of the proposed science planetarium will be at
Barangay Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City near the new City hall. This site suits for this
proposed building due to its perfect location. This could be part of future development.
The proposed planetarium aimed to be the next biggest attraction in the area that will
help to introduce the new and improved science technologies. It will also be a
sustainable building that will give users what they need. It will bring or gather unusual
sightseeing in a scientific way. Technically, it is for the growth of tourism and for
educational purpose. The development will create a strong image of the city as the
capital of Quezon Province. Finally, this project aimed to be one of the most visited
places in the country.
