Abstract

Tourism complex is a developed area which is basically for tourism. Where all the tourist facilities are established for tourism and relaxation purpose. In June the tourist arrival here in the Philippines has increased to 643,780 from 621,719 in May of 2019. The average number of tourist arrival in the Philippines is 264,486 in 1991 until it reaches the all-time high of 766,856 in February 2019 (tradingeconomics.com). The Quezon province consisted of thirty-nine municipalities and two cities the Lucena and Tayabas City (psa.gov.pg). It is known for having many tourist spots and colorful festivals. According to (touristfinder.com) the top ten most visited and best tourist spots in Quezon are Balesin Island, Silabungot beach, Kanaway beach, Cagbalete Island, Borawan beach, Dampalitan Island, Villa Escudero, Kamay ni Hesus shrine, Minor Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel and Mount Banahaw, and the three most popular festival in Quezon are Pahiyas festival, NiyogNyugan festival and the Maubanog festival (inspiringjourneythesis.blogspot.com). Even though Quezon has garnered its popularity nowadays it is still lacking tourist facilities that can accommodate and guide the tourist. With the proposed project “Quezon Tourism Complex” it will provide a fully-functional facility that can accommodate.guide anexhibit the beautiful culture of the province to the visitors. The proposed project will be a venue for entertainment, enjoyment, and a place where the local member of the community and the visitors can educate their selves about the Quezon province. This proposal aimed to improve the tourism industry in Lucena as well as the other provinces in Quezon. this proposal can be a tourist attraction and be a leisure landmark of the city.
