A PROPOSED AURORA GENERAL HOSPITAL

Completed2020

Abstract

The study focused on the design of the general hospital of San Francisco, Quezon. In the article "Importance of Health Care Facilities", it is mentioned that "vulnerability of the installation must be retrofitted following current requirements of design and construction." The study applied the descriptive qualitative method. The instruments used in the research were photographs and/ or videos, and any relevant documents for the project to be valid and accurate. The proposed main building and its supporting facilities are intended to be planned and applied with green design solutions through regenerative architecture to be susceptible to the expedient issue about climate change and any other related disasters. Additionally, the proposed site will be located at Barangay Cawayan I, San Francisco, Quezon. It is favorable to allocate the project in the area to avoid the congestion of traffic and unnecessary delays for medical emergencies. Hence, the direction of this research is about an innovative development of health facilities and its environment through the modern and updated standards of designing a hospital with its respective laws such as P.D. 1096. Furthermore, the disaster effectiveness of the hospital's capacity will depend on the systematic organization and easy mobilization of personnel, equipment, and supplies in a safe environment (Principles of Disaster Mitigation in Health Facilities, 200, p.16).
