Perceived Impacts on Online Learning for Laboratory Courses: Basis for Integrating an Alternative Solution

Abstract
As the country and the world continues to confront different issues
brought about by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic,
many sectors of society have been affected. As the lockdown started, many
students and teachers experienced difficulty coping with the academic
courses that have been thru a lot of adjustments. Amidst the "new normal"
lifecycle of education, all the campuses in Quezon, Province implied the
flexible learning new way of education. Manuel S. Enverga University
Foundation has implemented flexible learning for all of its students and
teachers. The study was conducted to determine the impacts of the online
learning laboratory courses on criminology students which seeks to provide
an alternative solution to the problems. In gathering the data, the researcher
conducted a survey questionnaire via Google form. The respondents of the
study were chosen through the use of simple random sampling. The
needed data gathered from the respondents have been consolidated,
tallied, tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted using the appropriate statistical
tools and data analysis. The findings of the study show that online learning
brings difficulties to students in different aspects of life, with that, the
researcher crafted a development plan, to provide an alternative solution to
the conclusions of the study.
