MSEUF Building Locator with Waypoint Direction

This project is an interactive of Building Locator with Waypoint Direction System that allows the students, employees, visitors and new comers to Locate or find buildings and rooms at ease in the university. Included in the program is the full map and floor plan of each Department in the university. This project study is a variation of the Building Locator Information System presented last March 2015 instead of giving information this project gives the exact location of the rooms and buildings using waypoint direction system. This project is designed for its accuracy efficiency and portability because it is an Android application. The system as an Android Application Smartphones and Tablets are necessary to run the system. The programs used in developing the project are AutoCAD for drafting the floor plans of buildings and rooms in the university campus, Sketchup in making the 3D model of the floor plan and buildings in the university and Unity 3D a software tool used in developing the Android applications. The research findings of all the data of the system is composed of recommendation that enumerate the list of possible improvements and application of the prototype design. In the overall evaluation of the prototype, almost all the respondents strongly agreed that the system is functional based of the survey and questionnaires conducted by the researchers.
