The researchers used descriptive methods of research. To collect data, the researchers will prepare a set of questionnaires aligned with the study's main purpose to achieve solid and factual results of the study. The main focus of the study is to elaborate and spread factual information about RA 10654. It is well-known for preventing illegal fishing and other illegal activities related to its coastal areas. The researchers choose the topic because illegal activities have been widely experienced. They wanted to help broaden the respondents' knowledge of the consequences and risks of performing illegal activities. However, there are various discussions or reasons why fishermen perform illegal activities, such as poverty prominently exists, residency, the economical status of the country, and the cost of living that urge them to take risks to provide food for their families.
