Abstract

Computer technology has the power to change, thereby improve people’s way to perform a task or do things. Computer programming with advanced paraphernalia converts a manual system to an automated system to intensify and speed up the process. With the existing manual securing of test booklets, these test booklets are found in the shelves or cabinets manually dispensed or sold by the canteen crew and the Admin. Time consuming and inconvenience dominate the scenario especially during examination period. The existing dilemma in the acquisition of test booklets were found when the researchers conducted an informal interview and survey to the students of the university. Being one of them, the researchers experienced the said problem. The existence of such difficulty, the researchers implemented research and development for the purpose of innovating the design of the previous studies in order to develop the prototype of the design project to increase the excellence of operation through the use of different technological improvement. The study consist of coin slot, ATmega328, a coin dispenser that consist a servo motor, and a storage of coins for the purpose of dispensing change and powered by a supply voltage of regulated 5v DC and 12v DC. The Liquid Crystal display is used to show the options to be selected by inputting data through the use of keypad. The result of the evaluation indicates the satisfactory of the criterion. In the overall evaluation of the prototype, almost all of the respondents strongly agree that the system is functional, efficient, reliable and accurate based on the survey conducted by the researchers.
