IMPACT OF CYBER BULLYING ON THE MENTAL HEALTH OF TEENAGERS

Abstract
Cyberbullying is an issue in our community that has a major influence on every individual's mental health when they are exposed to it. The usage of social media has a 50/50 chance of having a positive or negative impact, particularly on teens. The goal of this study is to find out what causes cyberbullying, who is affected by it, and what can be done to avoid it. To find out, the researchers conduct a survey and gather data using Google forms among youths from Pagbilao and Lucena who have been cyberbullied or have witnessed it. It was found that Facebook was the most used social media platform for cyberbullying which affects the respondents' mental health as they had difficulty concentrating and were nervous in their daily lives. The descriptive method of research was utilized in this study because it was suited for the nature of the investigation, which included data collection, compilation, and evaluation.
