Barangay Certificate Issuance and Record Management System with Descriptive Analytics

The purpose of this study is to address a solution to the difficulty occurring in a barangay. The idea was to introduce a management information system to help solve the problem. This paper provides an efficient and effective way to record and manage information needed for every barangay. The Barangay Management Information System is a web-based application that contains a feature that manages the residence record in the barangay. The researchers developed a web-based application that can insert the list of residents in the barangay. It can also contain name information, address, phone number, gender, and the number of residents living in a certain barangay. The system can also indicate how many male and female residence lives in barangay. The residents can also file a blotter report and request business closure, indigency, and residency. The system also has a dashboard to view blotter reports and resident's population reports; it shows how many numbers residence in a barangay it sorts them by gender and age, and it can also show how many blotters reports in a barangay it can also show the number of genders that has blotter reports at sorts the age of the residents have. The researchers used HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS as a programming language, Codeigniter as Framework, MYSQL as database, Notepad++, and NetBeans IDE as a source code editor. The researchers successfully developed a Barangay Certificate Issuance and Management Record System with Descriptive Analytics.
