A Network Design for a Science High School using Two-tier Network Architecture

Completed2021

Abstract

Computer Networking has become a path for various clients utilizing the web to collaborate in which it creates a way for offices, schools, and business establishments to interact and communicate with each other. This study focused on a 2-tier network design¬¬, such as entry-level, and intermediate level (A and B), wherein network fundamentals, concepts, techniques are incorporated in ensuring the connections throughout the network. The gathered data such as blueprint of the building, and interviews about the current network inventory were used to visualize what is the current network architecture of the beneficiary. The researchers created a simulation of the current network for it helps to showcase the difference between the current network to the proposed designs. On top of the network simulation, is the incorporation of two-tier network architecture in designing the proposed network. This followed a systematic flow of packets that prevents packet collision. After presenting the proposed design, it can see that it follows the networking fundamentals and configuration that incorporates the 2-tier network architecture.
