Abstract

The maritime industry is now considered one of the fastest-growing jobs every day, supplying large numbers of workers from many countries. With the help of recent Filipino heroes, also referred to as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), the maritime industry incorporates a positive effect on the Philippine economy. Among others, Filipino seafarers are successful thanks to their trustworthy and hardworking personalities. Despite this, the maritime industry poses plenty of challenges to anyone who is a component of the industry and is entitled to be one of the foremost important jobs within the world. This study focused on the challenges that Filipino seafarers can face on board to propose work-life balance to help Filipino seafarers develop their way of managing lifestyle on and off the ship. The researchers used the descriptive study to supply a selected community with present health status, actions, attitude, or other characteristics. Results show that the seafarers demonstrates how the creation of exemplary masculinity styles reception, amid subordinates racial and sophistication both on board, and on the market, helps Filipino seamen withstand the tough working conditions while at the identical time protecting and reproducing their gender ethnic niche.
