Differentiated Instruction in Teaching Living Things and their Environment among Grade 3 Learners in Selected School in Lucena City

Abstract
This study focused on the differentiated instruction in teaching living things and their environment in teaching living things and their environment among grade 3 learners in the selected schools in Lucena City.
The respondents of the study were the 30 Grade 3 teachers in selected schools in Lucena City. The researcher use mix quantitative and qualitative descriptive study utilized survey questionnaire and interview to gather information about the Differentiated instruction in teaching living things and their environment.
The demographic profile of the respondents as to age revealed that mostly they are of ages from 21-30 years old, there are more female teachers and most of the respondents graduate in bachelor’s degree.
In part II of in terms of Modular learning used by the teacher in teaching living things and their environment the rank 1 is The teacher used technology (smartphones,Laptop.etc) in teaching living things and their environment learning while rank 2 is teacher used pictures and give example of the living organism and rank 3 is the used art questioning in knowing the thought of the respondent. It means that in the modular learning, teacher used technology and printed materials in teaching living things and their environment which students needed in modular learning to have a good learning outcome. The researcher recommended that the teacher should a printed materials that is informative and detailed instruction using technology so that the student can learn more.
