Abstract
In this pandemic, flexible learning aimed to decongest classrooms and promote physical distancing to protect the health of the students. The study focused on the Challenges Encountered by the Grade 7 P.E Teachers in Teaching Individual Sports using Flexible Learning Modalities. This study utilized quantitative and qualitative type of research method in gathering information. The respondents of this study were the certain thirty (30) Grade 7 P.E. teachers from selected public schools in 1st District and 2nd District in Quezon Province. Area sampling was the method used by the researcher which determined the units of analysis. The statistical treatment that was used in the study are percentage, weighted mean and transcription method. The researcher used a two-part structured type of questionnaire and the last part as an interview material. The first part determined the demographic profile of the respondents. The second part identified the challenges encountered by Grade 7 P.E. teachers in teaching individual sports through flexible modality. The last part was in a form of interview that assessed the possible solution for the challenges encountered by teachers and its improvement. The researcher concluded that majority of the respondents were female, married, with the rank of Teacher 1 and in the age bracket of 41 years old and above. The researcher also inferred that the internet connection problem accumulated the highest response for the challenges encountered by Grade 7 P.E. Teachers being the most serious challenge dealt by grade 7 P.E Teachers. Regardless of age, sex, civil status, and degree attained, teachers should learn how to adapt and adjust on the concurring circumstance to provide a quality education using the resources available despite of this pandemic. Multiple Wi-Fi connections in school premises so that teachers would have more accessibility to establish stable connection
