Employee Training Needs Descriptive Analytics System For Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation

Completed2016

Abstract

The aim of this project is to establish a web-based application for the proper apportionment of training and seminars of the employees, personnel, non-personnel and academe of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation using a qualification phase of evaluation involving each employee, conducted by the Human Resource Department (HRD) of the university. Previously, the HRD was able to manually conduct an evaluation in order to analyze what the popular topics or themes are to be handled to enhance personnel’s proficiency both as an employee and as an individual. In this project, they will do the on-line evaluation which will be done online annually as mandated. Every employee which inputted their respective positions are able to get individual training and seminars as soon as it is available to attend to which will be keyed-in by the HR Personnel. This paper shows the actual range of interest of every employee based on the calculations provided by the management with the help of Rapid Application Development, a technological research which deals with engineering and technical problems. Through the use of PHP Hypertext Preprocessor as its database and Hypertext Markup Language, this research sought to provide an active information system. To test the system, it was evaluated by the Human Resource Department Officials and selected employees of the university. Apparently, portability earned the highest point in the evaluation while the lowest is security. The probability of why security got the lowest band score is because some evaluators do not have the knowledge on how to procure the security of the webpage. Meanwhile, portability earned the highest band score because it could adapt to the responsiveness of the system.
