Abstract
Overhauling Large Tonnage Rotor Support Centrifugal Compressor has been more laborious, requires a lot of manpower, and unsafe procedure that has been observed to cause numerous injuries and accidents in worksites due to its hefty weight and difficult mobility. This project aims to address the inconveniences and high potential hazards of the said type of compressor's overhauling procedures. The prototype workstation's design was conceptualized from the common compressor mobility needs and encountered types of reported injuries during overhauling procedures. The study's success will promote the enhancement and efficiency of the overall productivity and safety of the engineers and technicians in Johnson Controls, Qatar.
