Abstract

Food waste management is one of the major problems faced by different food businesses all over the world. It has a dynamic process which depends upon the population activities and the demand of people in urban areas. The problem is mainly due to the urbanization, rapid population growth, lack of awareness and programs about food waste management system and improper coordination from government authorities that gives enormous impact to social, economic and environmental issues. This paper is intended to explore the best practices of Backyard-themed restaurants to food waste management of Quezon Province using the quantitative research.
