The Acceptability of Quezon Ecotourism Website as a Tool for Local Guiding Practices

Abstract
The research study is to test the acceptability of the ecotourism website as a tool for an enhanced tour guiding practices of local tour guides in selected municipalities of Quezon Province. The researchers aim to develop a proposed training guideline that include local guiding practices for the local tour guides to use as they provide relevant information related to their town of expertise and/or field of endeavor. This research will assess the suitability of the content of QEW, determine the level of satisfaction of the recipients and deliverers with QEW in terms of usability, speed, aesthetics, content, contact information, website maintenance, and mobile friendly. A developmental research, mixed method of qualitative and quantitative approach with the aid of interview protocol to key informants and survey questionnaires for volunteer participants chosen purposively who include local tour guides, municipality and provincial tourism offices, travel agencies, local residents and students to answer the survey instruments in the google form. The locale is selected for cities and municipalities in Quezon province. Descriptive statistics will be used such as frequency count, percentage, average, and 4-point Likert scale survey questionnaire on the level of acceptability of users in different dimensions or features of the website
