Abstract
This study aimed to determine the flexible learning implementation in CIHTM-MSEUF in Lucena City in terms of effectiveness, challenges, and differences of the student’s perception and importance of the guidelines of flexible learning. The researchers used the descriptive method. The total respondents are 120 students of different program each year and it is recognized through quota sampling. The study findings shows that the department conducted an awareness/orientation for the flexible learning program before the start of the semester, students were encouraged to continuously develop their skills. The researchers find out that students experience difficulties in terms of handling-in the requirements for their studies, and the CIHTM developed websites and LMS for delivering flexible learning syllabus, study guides and learning resources. Most of the students who’s aware to the flexible learning implementation plan are female. The CIHTM Department experiences minor disturbances, but at the same time provides alternative modalities in order for both the students and professors adapt to the new style of learning. The researchers recommended that the CIHTM integrating a more dynamic and engaging environment for the learners. Effective flexible learning is highly recommended; they should focus by adding more interactive lessons in movie-like presentation that will enhance the student’s attention and broad their knowledge in a lively and more effective way of learning.
