Community Satisfaction on the Celebration of Niyogyugan Festival

Through the generations in the Philippines, different festival is celebrated throughout the country and that’s make the country very festive and culture enthusiastic. They were addicted to participate and joined every festival in the nation to witness different cultures. And Niyugyogan Festival is one of the example of that. On the other hand, researchers proposed a ways to improve and gain the satisfaction level for every tourist in the Niyugyogan Festival. With that, researchers made a study to know the methods and ways to produce satisfaction for every tourist or in the community to Niyogyogan Festival. The study is quantitative in nature, and used the descriptive research design. Furthermore, survey questionnaire thru “Google Form” was used to come up the data and gathered well all the information about the Community Satisfaction of the Niyugyogan Festival in Lucena City. Researchers came up with 150 as the respondents of their study after utilizing the convenient sampling method. Moreover, results and ratings were descriptively analyzed using weighted mean, frequency and percentages. Analysis of Variance was used to determine the significant difference. The study have determined the different profile, activities and level of satisfaction that can make them satisfied and the economic, social and environmental impact of the event. In addition, the study also established different programs that can be used in improving the said festival like enhancement program, to know what can make to offer and assess what should need to improve and enhance in the festival.
