Abstract

The main objective of this study was to enumerate the Impact of Technology on the Travel Agency and Tour Operator Businesses in Quezon Province. Employees, travel agents, and business owners from Quezon province were among the respondents. This study used descriptive research, a quantitative approach, and a convenience sampling methodology that described the significance of the respondents. The collection of data was carried out through a survey containing questionnaires that were distributed online. The statistical methods such as Frequency, Percentages, and Weighted Mean were used in Analysis to test the hypotheses. The findings of the study revealed that the impact of technology was perceived to the respondents since the results manifested that they highly agreed to the impact of technology on arranging the booking with travel agencies and tour operators, the use of different technology in their operations such as computer reservation, social media and online payment, and its impact concerning accessibility, price, communication, and information and customer satisfaction. The positive perception of the respondents on adopting technologies could be beneficial. The researchers recommended that the technology integration plan implemented will give guidance on delivering techniques regarding the adaptation of technology advancement. agencies and tour operators provide a secure and stable stream of revenue for booking transactions and have to change and adapt innovation to thriving and providing vital services that are incorporated into a technology integration plan for travel agencies and tour operator businesses in Quezon Province.
