Abstract
The researchers’ interest is about Gastronomy Tourism: Promotion of Native Delicacies in Quezon Province.
Gastronomy is the study of the relationship between food, culture and style of cooking in a particular way in different areas. When we talk about food, the first thing that will come to our mind is Sariaya and Tayabas, two of the towson in Quezon Province that are rich in native delicacies. These towns have a lot to offer in terms of food like yema cake, cassava cake, leche puto, pinagong, broas, and many more.
The main objective of this study was to determine the marketing strategies that the LGU is using to promote native delicacies and how it will affect the gastronomy. It also aimed to find out how tourists give importance to the characteristics of food, to determine the level of satisfaction of every tourist regarding the native delicacies, and to know the contribution of promoting native delicacies in the community, tourists, and LGU.
