E-LABA: A GENERIC WEB-BASED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR LAUNDRY SHOPS
Area of Research
Abstract
The Laundry shop web mobile application system sent updates to the
customers using e-mail which informed the customers whether their laundry is ready
to pick up. The system has a login feature and also added records of transaction of
customer and could add new services like ironing of clothes to the shop. It also gave
the total amount of customer’s transaction. It has history tab in which the employees
could view the past transactions and could also search on it. It has a super user
which included the owner’s account which the owner could access everything on the
system. The owner could give accounts and check privileges on the check box which
contained the restriction on what the new user could access and use on the system.
After the owner made the account for the employee, the account would give a default
password to the employee which they can use to log in to the system. After the
employee logged in to the system, the system would require the employee to change
their password and they could use their account. If they forgot their password, they
could ask the super user or the owner to reset their account for the new password. The system has a graph of transaction which tells what product is the most washed in
the week and what type of detergent, fabric conditioner, and others were consumed
the most. The system has logs which tells which account was responsible per
transaction.
