San Antonio unveils Dr. Manuel S. Enverga monument

The Municipality of San Antonio, Quezon honored the late Dr. Manuel S. Enverga through the unveiling of his monument on June 12 during the flag-raising ceremony for the 128th Philippine Independence Day.

Local officials, municipal employees, veterans, residents and representatives from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation joined the ceremony, which paid tribute to Enverga’s enduring contributions to the town’s establishment and development.

Recognized as the “Father of the Municipality,” Enverga played a key role in shaping San Antonio’s identity and progress. The municipality placed the newly unveiled monument facing the Municipal Hall to symbolize his lasting presence in the community and his legacy of leadership, vision and public service.

Municipal leaders said the monument would serve not only as a reminder of San Antonio’s history but also as an inspiration for future generations to uphold the values Enverga exemplified throughout his life.

The unveiling reflected Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to honoring its founder’s legacy of Service, Excellence and Fortitude. It also affirmed the university’s mission to form graduates who value history, leadership and public service as they contribute to community and national development.
