Envergan employees engage in ‘Pause for Purpose’ wellness initiative of HRD, OSAS
To support employee well-being through reflection and creative expression, the Human Resource Department, in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs and Services of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, conducted “Pause for Purpose: EUr Mindful Reflection and Gratitude – Expressive Art Activity," Mar. 26.
A total of 31 employees participated in the pre-break initiative, which encouraged them to pause from daily responsibilities and reconnect with their thoughts and emotions.
Pauline Joy Rabina and Adrian Carlo Villanera, HR generalists, facilitated the highlight activity titled “Expressive Art: Turning Feelings Into Art,” where participants translated their emotions into visual representations.
Participants said the session provided a meaningful opportunity to slow down and engage in reflective practice amid work demands.
“The activity helped us reconnect with ourselves and approach our work with renewed energy,” one participant shared.
Organizers said the session fostered calmness, connection and emotional balance, helping employees prepare mentally and emotionally for the upcoming break.
The initiative reflected the University’s core values of Mindfulness, Service and Excellence by prioritizing employee well-being and holistic development. It also supported a healthy work environment that empowers personnel to perform effectively and sustainably.
- SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being: The activity promoted mental wellness and work-life balance through reflective and creative practices.
