Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation strengthened its global academic linkages as Leah Salas, corporate planning and development officer and acting director of the Office of Quality Improvement, joined the Training on Internal Quality Assurance in Southeast Asia (TrainIQA ASEAN-QA) program hosted by the University of Potsdam in Germany in August 2025.
Supported by DAAD and the German Rectors’ Conference, the program aims to build institutional quality assurance capacity across Southeast Asia through three phases: a workshop in Thailand in March 2025, the second training in Germany in August 2025, and a closing conference in Indonesia in December 2025.
Salas was selected among 28 quality assurance leaders from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Timor Leste, Thailand, and Vietnam. “This opportunity allows MSEUF to benchmark with international standards and further strengthen our commitment to excellence,” Salas said.
Her participation highlighted MSEUF’s drive to enhance its quality assurance practices and advance its mission of building a globally competitive institution.
This engagement reflects MSEUF’s vision of transformative learning and outcomes-oriented education by aligning with international standards. The university’s values of Excellence and Unity were embodied in building global networks that elevate institutional practices. Through this program, MSEUF reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening educational quality for its students and community.
