MSEUF tourism student earned acceptance to the NUS Asian Undergraduate Symposium 2025
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s Ayela Chezka Nanez from the BS Tourism Management program will attend the National University of Singapore international summits in Singapore in July 2025 after receiving official acceptance, joining youth dialogues on sustainability and academic exchanges to deepen regional collaboration and research.
She will join the Asian Undergraduate Symposium on July 7–19, a forum that invites students from various countries to present research, join academic dialogues and exchange ideas on regional and international concerns.
The Office of Special Internationalization Projects, led by Jennifer Reyes, supported her selection and application. “We support our students in engaging with academic programs outside the country,” Reyes said. “Participation in these activities contributes to their personal and professional development and prepares them for future responsibilities in both local and global contexts.”
Nanez will represent the university in international discussions, academic presentations and cross-cultural sessions with peers from other institutions.
This opportunity advanced MSEUF’s mission to produce competent, socially responsible graduates and reinforced student-centered, outcomes-oriented and transformative learning through international exposure and research engagement. It reflected Excellence in scholarship, Unity through global collaboration, Service to communities via sustainability work, Mindfulness in addressing climate challenges and Fortitude in pursuing long-term growth.
