JFINEX welcomes members through Connect, Learn and Lead orientation
Strengthening member engagement, leadership and organizational awareness, JFINEX conducted its “Connect, Learn, and Lead” General Orientation on Aug. 28 through Microsoft Teams for its new and returning members.
The virtual orientation introduced the organization’s advisers and officers and discussed the responsibilities of members and student leaders. The program also presented the general plan of activities, membership fees and benefits available to members.
JFINEX President Kimberly Azul led the organization with Vice President Alyssa Sophia Atienza, Senior Vice President for External Affairs Jenny Beato, Junior Vice President for External Affairs Franco Pagdonsolan, Senior Vice President for Internal Affairs Jeniels Ariola and Junior Vice President for Internal Affairs Wella Marie Balmes, along with the organization’s other executive officers and year-level representatives.
The orientation encouraged members to build connections, collaborate with fellow students and explore opportunities to participate in future organizational activities. It also provided new members with a better understanding of the organization’s goals and their roles in supporting its programs.
JFINEX also informed members about its current probationary status and its goal of securing accreditation. The organization expressed its commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities and continuing its activities while completing the requirements necessary for recognition.
Through the orientation, JFINEX strengthened communication among its members and established a common direction for its planned activities, partnerships and student development initiatives for the academic year.
The activity supported Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s commitment to student-centered and experiential learning by providing students with opportunities to develop leadership, communication and organizational management skills. It also reflected the core values of Service, Excellence and Unity by encouraging responsible participation, collaboration and commitment to organizational goals.

- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth — Participation in student leadership and organizational activities can help members develop communication, teamwork and leadership competencies relevant to future employment.
- SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — The organization highlighted collaboration and partnership-building as part of its activities and continuing development.
