Lemery Colleges, Asia Tech benchmark criminology best practices at MSEUF CCJC

College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) welcomed officials from Lemery Colleges, Inc. and Asia Technological School of Science and Arts for a benchmarking activity, June 10. 

The benchmarking focused on MSEUF's criminology program structure, laboratory facilities, and academic practices. The guests toured key facilities and engaged in discussions with MSEUF officials to gain insights into program management, curriculum design, and student learning outcomes.

Dr. Henedina A. Lagumen, Dean of the CCJC, emphasized the University’s role in advancing criminal justice education in the region.
“As the only CHED Center of Excellence in Criminology in Region IV-A, it is our duty to uphold high standards and share our practices with other institutions. Benchmarking promotes collaboration and continuous growth in the discipline,” Dr. Lagumen said. 

From Lemery Colleges, attendees included Dr. Harren James Bautista, Ms. Lovelita De Ramos, Ms. Frances Gutierrez, Ms. Karyll Anne Sapungan, Ms. Aira Nicole De Sagun, and Mr. Al Dante Tiopes. From Asia Tech, participants were Dr. Shelalin Lleve, Dr. Josie Page, and Mr. John Lester Indicio.

Representing MSEUF during the activity were Dr. Benilda Villenas, Dr. Claudia Odette Ayala, Dr. Henedina Lagumen, Dr. Jennifer Reyes, Dir. Leah Salas, Dr. Monette Tenorio, Dr. Dennis Gonzales, along with other CCJC faculty members.

The activity served as a platform for academic exchange and professional dialogue, reinforcing MSEUF’s position as a leading institution in criminology education.
