MSEUF honors 33 new Psychometricians, awards P50K incentive each to 2 topnotchers

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) organized a motorcade and a testimonial luncheon to honor Anjaly M. Nopre and Niña Mikaela A. Patasin, 10th placers, and 31 other Envergans who passed the August 2024 licensure examination for Psychometricians, Sept. 6.

The MSEUF management awarded Ms. Nopre and Ms. Patasin a 50,000-peso incentive for placing 10th in the psychometrician licensure examination.

Ms. Nopre and Ms. Patasin shared their gratitude to the University and the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) in the speech she delivered during the program held after the motorcade across the City of Lucena, Tayabas City, and MSEUF Candelaria.

"Thank you po sa pagkakataong sama sama tayo ngayon para ibahagi ang natatanging achievement ngayon hindi lang para sa sarili ko kundi para sa ating lahat. To pass a Psychometrician is an achievement, but to be among the top 10 is a milestone. I am truly humbled and honored to share this moment with Mica and our fellow envergan psychometrician." Ms. Nopre stated.

"This milestone is not just a personal achievement it is a testament to every moment and every person who has been with us and pushed us this far. My fellow psychology graduates, as another chapter of our life unfolds and whatever field we may be in, may we never lose sight of how instrumental helping another person can be. It is our obligation, not only to ourselves but to those around us to help them after all with the helping profession." Ms. Nopre also shared.

"It is an honor to receive this recognition. To be honest, I have never been an honor student since elementary school. I never excelled at anything, I never graduated with an honor or such an award, and this kind of achievement is something I would think of as impossible." Ms. Patasin also shared.

"This institution honed my skills, and made me realize the potential, I have the potential to excel in this chosen field and I also want to congratulate my fellow psychometricians for passing the licensure examination." Ms. Patasin also shared.

The other 31 Envergans who passed the psychometrician boards received a 2,000-peso incentive for first-time takers and 1,000 pesos for retakers.

Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academics and Research Dr. Benilda N. Villenas delivered the opening remarks while Vice President for External Relations Celso D. Jaballa, Vice President for Finance Carlito Rodriguez, and the Dean of CAS, Dr. Claudia Odette J. Ayala, distributed the certificates and incentives to the newly licensed psychometricians.

CAS Faculty and the CAS Psychological Society also attended the celebration.
