The webinar gathered over 200 participants, featured Atty. Rey Oliver S. Alejandrino, DCL, Dean of the Enverga Law School, as the keynote speaker.

Atty. Alejandrino provided an in-depth discussion on the importance of safeguarding innovations through copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets. He explained the role of IP in fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within the university.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Benilda N. Villenas, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academics and Research, emphasized the University's commitment to supporting and protecting the intellectual contributions of its community.

"At Enverga University, we are committed to nurturing the creative spirit and innovative drive of our students, faculty, and community members. Whether in the fields of arts, science, technology, or any other discipline, the creations born from your hard work and imagination are valuable assets. Protecting these assets ensures that your contributions to society are recognized, respected, and rewarded." Dr. Villenas stated.

The event culminated with the closing remarks of Engr. Roselyn Maaño, Director of RPIUC, who expressed the significance of understanding intellectual property in today's academic and creative landscape.

"Almost 200 participants have learned about the law governing intellectual property rights and how it can safeguard our ideas and benefit our university. We recognize that our students, faculty, employees, and researchers are at the forefront of innovation. We are generating ideas, developing solutions, and driving meaningful change." Engr. Maaño highlighted.
