MSEUF joins World Consumer Electronics Expo '24
Upon the invitation of HYTEC Power, Inc., (HPI), an industry partner of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), 11 delegates from the College of Engineering attended the World Consumer Electronics Expo at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, August 10.
Headed by Vice President for External Relations Celso D. Jaballa and Engr. Cielito Maligalig, Dean of the College of Engineering with Maria Isabel Granda, Director of the office of Scholarships, Endowment, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations, intend to witness the kick-off event of the Robotics Competition initiated by HYTEC Power, Inc. with VEX Robotics.
HPI is a retail company that focuses on providing solutions to industrial companies and the educational sector. The company aims to close the gap between the academe and industry by providing globally competitive training and products.
With several schools in attendance, including elementary, junior, and senior high schools, colleges, and universities, the host company introduced the students to the national and international robotics competitions, including preparations before participating in the event. The schools that participated in past events were present to assist the newcomers whose interests and passions are in Robotics.
The MSEUF student delegates are composed of BS Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ang Electrical Engineering who have robotics and mechatronics subjects in their curriculum. The team intends to participate in future robotics challenges to enhance the university’s thrust and to expose students to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Mechatronics technologies.
