MSEUF welcomes IONIA Management; marks future collaboration opportunities
To discuss future collaborations with the College of Maritime Education (CME) and the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (CIHTM). the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) welcomed representatives from IONIA Management S.A. (IONIA), Jan. 6.
Tsardidou Therapioti Soultana and Moysi Maria represented IONIA, while Executive officers, deans, directors, and CME and CIHTM faculty greeted the guests and provided a brief tour of the University’s facilities.
CME Dean Capt. Wildy Nagares CIHTM Dean Dr. Maricel Herrera expressed the importance of the collaboration. “This collaboration represents an opportunity to strengthen our maritime education and provide students with more pathways to succeed in their careers,” Capt. Wildy Nagares said.
“This partnership is a significant step toward integrating international standards into our programs, ensuring our graduates are globally competitive,” Dr. Herrera shared.
CME Administrative Officer Leah Salas emphasized the value of partnerships like this in enhancing student training and development. “It’s an important step in ensuring our students are equipped with the skills and experiences they need for a competitive edge,” Salas said.
Engr. Rio Henson Derecho, CME Onboard Training Supervisor, highlighted the impact of the visit on future initiatives. “This interaction sets the stage for programs that will prepare our students for global maritime and hospitality industries.”
The visit aligns with MSEUF’s commitment to providing innovative opportunities and fostering collaborations that benefit its students and faculty.
