Enverga Bar Flippers win first place in WOFEX flair bartending tilt


WORLD TRADE CENTER, Metro Manila — The Enverga Bar Flippers of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation won first place in the World Food Expo Flair Bartending Competition after Meviel Khaye Pepito and Jessalyne Ladesma delivered a standout routine against 13 flairtenders from 10 universities across the Philippines.
Representing the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Pepito and Ladesma showcased a performance that combined precision, creativity and storytelling. Their routine featured a signature cocktail that blended local flavors such as ube and tinapa with advanced flair bartending techniques.
The competition gathered some of the country’s top student flairtenders, making the victory a major achievement for MSEUF and its hospitality program. Through their winning performance, the pair demonstrated both technical skill and innovation in beverage preparation and presentation.
The championship reflected the strength of hands-on training among Enverga Bar Flippers members and highlighted the ability of MSEUF students to compete successfully on a national stage. Their achievement also brought pride to the university and reinforced the growing reputation of the CIHTM in hospitality excellence.
The success of Pepito and Ladesma served as an inspiration to fellow students, showing that discipline, creativity and teamwork can lead to outstanding results in competitive industry events.
