EU CCMS sponsors DICT's web application development training-workshop
As one of the partners of the Department of Information and Communications Technology Department (DICT), the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) through the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies (CCMS), sponsored a face-to-face training "PHP Web Application Framework: CodeIgniter," at the Computer Laboratory 2, MSEUF, Lucena City, Aug. 7-8.
The University provided the venue, food, and refreshments for the participants for the progam as part of the ICT Literacy and and Compentency Development Bureau (ILCDB) of the DICT.
Mr. Radison Eule, Programmer of the Information and Communications Technology Department (ICTD) of the University and a part-time faculty member of the CCMS served as the resource trainer.
Thirty-four (34) participants including IT professionals, workers, and graduating students from MSEUF, SLSU-Lucban, Lucena and Tayabas, STI Lucena, Calayan Educational Foundation Inc., Colegio de la Ciudad de Tayabas, Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena, and St. Anne College of Lucena attended the two-day training workshop.
During the preliminary program, Assoc. Prof. Rodrigo C. Belleza Jr., Dean of the CCMS, delivered his warm welcome to the participants.
"I am delighted to welcome you all to this significant training workshop. This event is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the skills and competencies of IT professionals and students in the province. We are honored to partner with DICT in this endeavor and to host such an impactful program here at MSEUF." Dean Belleza remarked.
Mr. Edd Fernan D. Gonzalesm OIC-Provincial Officer of DICT-Quezon delivered his inspirational message virtually.
"It is inspiring to see the collaboration between MSEUF and DICT in bringing this valuable training to our community. The skills you gain here will be instrumental in advancing your careers and contributing to the development of our local IT industry. I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity to learn and grow." Mr. Gonzales said.
The DICT Region IV-A Quezon expressed their gratitude to the University and to their particpants.
