MSEIFI-San Antonio inaugurates new senior high building

Committed to providing quality education to the community, the Manuel S. Enverga Institute Foundation Inc. (MSEIFI) - San Antonio, inaugurated its new senior high school building, which features a modern facility with six classrooms, May 17.

Rev. Fr. Alex Oracion officiated the Thanksgiving mass to kick off the inauguration program. In his homily, Fr. Oracion emphasized the divine purpose behind establishing the new building, highlighting that it manifested God’s mercy and a blessing for the community.

"In establishing this new building, we witness the manifestation of God's mercy and a profound blessing for our community. This structure is not just a physical addition to our surroundings; it is a testament to our faith, a symbol of unity, and a beacon of hope. It stands as a reminder that with God's grace, we can achieve great things together. Let this building inspire us to serve one another with love and compassion, and to strive for excellence in all that we do," Fr. Oracion stated.

As a symbol of the institute’s dedication to expanding educational opportunities, MSEUF Executive Officers attended the program where Vice President for External Relations and Coordinator for Affiliate Schools Celso Jaballa, Vice President for Finance and University Treasurer Carlito Rodriguez, together with OIC Vice President for Administration Amalia de los Reyes, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Other guests from the main campus included Property Custodian and HR of Affiliate Schools, Doberee Briones, Director of the General Services Department Engr. Ariel Nicolas, with Electrical Engineer Mark Inojosa, and Project Engineer Marlou Quincena.

Dr. Victor Oribe, Dean of Studies at MSEIFI, welcomed the visitors and challenged the parents, faculty, and students to love and support the new facility, urging them to nurture it as a cornerstone for future generations.

In an inspiring message from VP Jaballa on behalf of President/COO Naila Leveriza, he described the new building as a “symbol of hope and opportunity.” Dedicated to the people of San Antonio, it aims to pave the way for the children’s bright future and the community’s prosperity.

San Antonio Mayor Hon. Aniano Ariel Wagan, Jr., through his vice mayor, also expressed deep gratitude to MSEIF for its commitment to delivering quality education. He praised the institute as a steadfast partner in community development and extension services, underscoring the importance of such partnerships in promoting local growth.

PTA President Joel Mendoza, represented by his vice president, and Alumni President Remedios Real likewise voiced support for the infrastructure project. Ms. Real acknowledged the institute’s role in shaping them into responsible citizens and reaffirmed PTA commitment to the school’s mission.

Rosaida Cuevas, the school principal, concluded the program expressing her gratitude to all attendees, including members of the Sangguniang Bayan, PTA officers, the Student Council, the alumni, and religious group guests. She emphasized the efforts that made the occasion memorable and underscored the importance of continuous support.

The celebration concluded with a festive lunch, where guests and visitors enjoyed a time for socialization, reflecting on the day’s joyous events and the bright future ahead of MSEIFI and the San Antonio community.
