Miss EU 2024 showcase talents beyond borders of diversity and advocacy

Eleven queens glided onstage representing ASEAN countries at the University Gymnasium, Feb. 8, each competing for the title of Miss Enverga University 2024 during the 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration.

Representing various academic departments embodying ASEAN pride, the candidates delivered captivating performances that highlighted their individual talents.

Institute of Graduate Studies and Research’s November Akako Eclarin representing Vietnam performed a magic trick showcase for the audience. 

Zamantha Jimenez in a Laotian costume of the College of Maritime Education gave a stirring rendition of "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele, accompanied by a rap version of KZ Tandingan. 

Lycamae Penarejo representing Thailand, hailing from the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology (CCJC), showcased a contemporary folk dance performance. 

College of Education’s Arianne Kristel Sapol of the Philippines presented a medley of Philippine folk dances with a swift transition of costumes and setups. 

Zhienah Mae Hernandez of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, representing Brunei, serenaded the audience with her rendition of "Pag-ibig" by Yeng Constantino. 

Rueil Viana Monserrat of the Basic Education Department-Senior High School carrying the Timor-Leste banner, delivered a powerful performance of spoken poetry on her advocacy for women empowerment back-to-back with contemporary ballet. 

Aira Sophia Apura of the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences depicting the beauty of Myanmar rendered interpretative dance. 

Radhakrishna Nicodemus of the College of Engineering (CEng), representing Cambodia, conveyed a poignant message addressing the struggles of addiction, depression, and teenage pregnancy, in her interpretative dance all set to the song of Freddie Aguilar's "Anak." 

The College of Arts and Sciences Maria Louise Cassandra Abella, embodying Indonesia, showed a captivating mixture of modern standard and Latin-American dance performance. 

Keith Anne Camata depicting Singapore of the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management delighted the audience with a Barbie themed performance and Latin dance. 

Elmira Silva from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), representing Malaysia, showcased her creativity with a live canvas painting.

The Search for Miss Enverga University 2024 Talent Competition was not only a showcase of talent but also a celebration of diversity and unity, echoing the theme "Beyond Borders: A Journey to ASEAN Harmony" embraced by Enverga University.
