Montserrat reigns as new Miss Enverga University; scores a back-to-back win for BED-SHS

The 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration culminated in a spectacular finale with Rueil Viana Montserrat crowned Ms. Enverga University, Feb. 16, at the University Gymnasium. 

Miss Basic Education Department-Senior High School started off strong even surrounded by equally beautiful queens stood on her own with her smile — all attention was hers onstage throughout the pageant.  

She claimed the title of Best in ASEAN National Costume representing Timor-Leste dazzling the crowd with her vibrant interpretation of the Tais in bright pink adorned with gold Kaibauk headdress shaped like the horns of a water buffalo.  

Additionally, she earned the Best in Swimsuit title, Viana owning the stage with power and confidence displaying the Fine Arts students' hand-painted cape in a multicultural tapestry of the national symbols of Timor-Leste.  

Finally, Viana impressed as she claimed the Best in Long Gown, elegantly waltzing the stage in a stunningly bright pink dress, accentuated by a large bow adorned with woven Tais at the back; her remarkable performance and captivating presence solidified her status as a standout contender in the pageant. 

Maria Louise Cassandra Abella, from the College of Arts and Sciences and representing Indonesia, claimed the 1st Runner-Up.  

Following, Elmira Silva of the College of Business and Accountancy, representing Malaysia, seized the title of 2nd Runner-Up, while Arianne Kristel Sapul, from the College of Education, representing the Philippines, took home the 3rd Runner-Up. 

In addition to these notable achievements, Miss College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management Keith Anne Camata showcased her talent and grace, winning the title of Best in Talent with her Barbie-themed standard and Latin dance performance.  

Miss College of Maritime Education's Zamantha Jimenez embodied collegiality and camaraderie, earning the title of Ms. Congeniality.  

Meanwhile, Radhakrishna Nicodemus of the College of Engineering, representing Cambodia, captivated the audience and judges alike, earning the title of Miss Enverga University 2024’s Most Photogenic. 

The candidates represented 11 ASEAN countries, aligning with the theme of the EU's 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration: “Beyond Borders: A Journey of 77 Years of MSEUF Excellence Towards ASEAN Harmony.”  

The diverse representation underscored the University's commitment to fostering harmony and unity across borders— a night of beauty, diversity, and unity.

The Grand Coronation Night of Miss EU 2024 embodied gender equality (SDG 5), quality education (SDG 4), and inclusivity (SDG 10) as guests, students, faculty, staff, administrators, and executive officers gathered at the University Gymnasium.
