Enverga University joins Wadhwani's Partners' Summit '24; conducts ceremonial MOU signing
Reaffirming its support for entrepreneurship and education and micro-credentials, the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) took part in the Wadhwani Foundation Partners’ Summit 2024 at the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila, Nov. 15.
Engr. Roselyn Maaño, Director of the Research Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center, and Reina Pasumbal, Director of the Learning and Development Center represented the MSEUF for the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of MSEUF and Wadhwani Foundation partnership.
Engr. Maaño and Dir. Pasumbal also joined the Ceremonial Signing of Commitment to the Wadhwani Entrepreneur Network (WEN) program.
The signing marked another step in the University’s mission to help students and teachers become entrepreneurs and improve skills with micro-credentials, but it also highlighted the need for greater collaboration to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing business world.
The summit, part of Philippine Startup Week 2024, used the theme “EmpowerEd 3.0: Educate, Engage, Elevate the Next Gen of Entrepreneurs.” The event brought together educators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to share successes, discuss trends, and create partnerships in entrepreneurship education.
“The WEN program has given our students and faculty tools to explore entrepreneurship and build real solutions,” Engr. Maaño said. “But we know there is more to do. This partnership allows us to keep growing and adapting to the needs of the next generation of innovators," Engr, Maaño added.
Through its ongoing work with the Wadhwani Foundation, Enverga University continues to equip students and faculty members with the skills to succeed in business while strengthening efforts to build a fair and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem and promote micro-credentials in the University.
