A proud graduate of the Bachelor of Elementary Education – General Education program from the College of Education, Class of 2019, James Chadric Estrada has built a career rooted in service, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow. His story is a testament to the lasting impact of an Envergan education and the power of believing in the transformative role of teachers.

Discovering a Calling at Enverga

For Sir James, Enverga University was more than a place to earn a degree. It was where he discovered his purpose.

“My education at Enverga University greatly prepared me as an educator,” he shared. “It was where I developed my passion for teaching and learned the importance of being inclusive, patient, and adaptable in handling learners from diverse backgrounds.”

The knowledge, training, and experiences he gained became the foundation of a career that would eventually take him across different educational levels, from kindergarten classrooms to college lecture halls.

Through every stage of his professional journey, he learned to adjust his teaching strategies, connect with diverse learners, and create meaningful learning experiences that meet students where they are.

Growing Through Every Classroom

One of Sir James’ greatest achievements has been his ability to thrive in various educational settings.

After graduation, he gained valuable teaching experience across multiple academic levels, strengthening his versatility and adaptability as an educator. Each classroom brought unique challenges and opportunities that helped him refine his teaching philosophy.

Whether working with young children taking their first steps in education or mentoring college students preparing for their futures, he embraced every opportunity to learn and grow alongside his learners.

His commitment to education extends beyond instruction. He has also served as an adviser to various student organizations, helping students develop leadership skills, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.

Through these experiences, he has become not only a teacher but also a mentor who empowers students to discover their potential.

Lessons Beyond the Classroom

When asked about his most unforgettable memories at Enverga University, Sir James recalls the strong sense of community that defined his college years.

“One of my most unforgettable memories at Enverga University was the genuine sense of community and support from my professors and peers,” he said.

He fondly remembers late nights preparing for presentations, the excitement of teaching demonstrations, and the encouragement he received from professors who believed in his abilities.

Among the experiences closest to his heart was his involvement in Paaralang Munti, a community extension initiative of the College of Education. Through this program, he helped teach young children and prepare them for formal schooling.

The experience strengthened his understanding of service and reinforced the idea that education is one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives.

He also participated in academic and non-academic competitions that challenged him to grow beyond the classroom. Guided by supportive professors, he developed confidence, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for lifelong learning.

Perhaps the most formative experience was his teaching internship.

What began as a requirement became a defining moment that strengthened his instructional skills and later inspired him to become a Teaching Internship Instructor, allowing him to help shape future educators just as his mentors once shaped him.

Inspired by Transformation

For Sir James, the greatest reward of teaching is witnessing growth.

“What inspires me in my professional journey today is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of my students,” he shared. “Seeing their growth, both academically and personally, reminds me why I chose the teaching profession.”

He also draws inspiration from mentors and colleagues who model excellence, compassion, and dedication in education.

Every training, research endeavor, and classroom experience motivates him to continue learning and improving.

“Above all, it is the thought that education can transform lives that keeps me grounded and passionate about what I do every day.”

Beyond the classroom, Sir James continues to pursue professional growth through training programs, research activities, and public speaking engagements.

He has served as a resource speaker and facilitator in academic and student development sessions, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to pursue excellence.
