ANALYSIS OF THE SPENDING PATTERN AMONG SELECTED BPO EMPLOYEES OF ABC LLC

Abstract
The study assessed the factors affecting the spending pattern of BPO employees and what saving habits and plans can be formulated. The study also determined the spending patterns of BPO employees in terms of work-related, personal and other expenditures. The respondents’ spending patterns were also compared in terms of age, civil status, place of residence, mode of transportation, home ownership, gross monthly income and tenure in BPO industry.
Two hundred twenty four consumers which were making purchases at the time and place of the data gathering were the participants of the study. Descriptive-survey design was utilized. Frequency count, weighted mean, T-test for independent samples and one-way analysis of variance were used to analyze the gathered data for interpretation. The findings revealed that spending patterns of the respondents are based primarily on personal factors The study identified that age and sex exhibit significant influence in terms of personal factors whereas the findings ascertained civil status significantly influence work, personal, and other Moreover, it identified that for work, personal and other expenditures gross monthly income has a great influence
