MARKETING STRATEGIES OF A RECOGNIZED PLAYSCHOOL IN SAN PABLO CITY: BASIS FOR ENROLMENT ENHANCEMENT

Abstract

It is an undeniable truth that the number of enrolees is critical to the very existence of a school. Without students, the school would not function for it has no reason to. Considering this reality, school marketing plans streamline what the school does and outlines the reasons behind its actions. This research focused on the exploration of the most prevalent and most effective marketing strategies used by a recognized playschool to continuously increase its enrolment. The descriptive research design was used in this study to investigate characteristics of a certain population; specifically, the families and parents of the children enrolled in a recognized playschool in San Pablo City. Definitively, this method solicited their demographic profile as well as their perceptions about the playschool’s 5Ps marketing mix and its SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) analysis. The primary data in this paper was collected through a researched-developed questionnaire, which was prepared in such a way that it covers the entire objective of the study. Meanwhile, secondary data were collected from related literature such as books magazines, booklets, and other related and significant reliable studies.(Gonzales, 2007) Obtained quantitative data was analysed and presented in a much comprehensible and concise manner as a basis of the desired major output of the study. The possible outcomes of this study can be the bases for strengthening marketing strategies that are found to be effective as well as the continuous improvement of those that are found to be otherwise, thus, leading towards the growth and expansion of the playschool.
