LEVEL OF JOB SATISFACTION OF RANK AND FILE EMPLOYEES OF A SELECTED LGU IN QUEZON PROVINCE: BASIS FOR PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
While there is a need for any organization to conform with national standards of labor
and employment, its success principally depends on its employer-employee
relationship. Likewise, there is a need to identify the level of satisfaction of an
organization’s constituents in order to create a program development. This study
focused about identifying the level of job satisfaction of employees from selected
Local Government Unit in Quezon Province and proposes a program development.
The study used quantitative research design, survey method in gathering information
through the use of questionnaires that was distributed among 50 respondents of
Local Government Unit (LGU) situated in the Quezon Province. However, finding the
best time that suits the schedule of the researchers as well the population of the
study was the major problem encountered by the researchers. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of their job satisfaction and from the gathered results,
propose a program development. The results, the researchers revealed that the most
of the employees are serving the government unit for an average of 21-25 years and
answered that they are just satisfied with their job.
